The Brief
A florist approached us to assist with increasing their online sales by creating a more authoritative website. Their previous website had a clunky ordering function so streamlining the sales process was key to the clients needs. The design was a complete re-vamp and we built the system on an e-commerce platform suitable to match their growth.
Out With The Old, In With The New
Our client was using a ‘do-it-yourself’ Wix website which was getting more and more difficult to use as they tried to add a wider product range and additional functionality. Several meetings with the client later and we had a clear plan in place to take their online presence to the next level. During the design process we had to consider a range of product categories and with the help of our Digital Marketing team we produced a sitemap which links all of their offerings together.
A Real Shopping Experience
Twilo works best when all of our services can be used together and this was the case with the client’s ‘Build Your Own Bouquet’ page. We created a bespoke landing page that offers visitors a similar experience to walking into a florist. Visitors can create a bouquet of flowers to the finest detail by specifying their bouquet size, style, preference of flowers, colours, occasion and even the message to hand-write on the card. The customer is then guided through the checkout process, leaving Wickham & Taylor Ltd to hand-deliver the flowers to the specified address. Perfect.
