Website Developer

We're looking for a Website Developer to join our agency with the opportunity to work on a wide-range of projects.

Please note this is an on-site position, from our Leeds office.

Twilo has an opportunity for a Website Developer to join our team, with great progression opportunities for the right candidate. We have a number of exciting projects both ongoing and in the pipeline… the beauty of agency work!

The Role

Working as part of our core team, you’ll have an active involvement in projects while taking an active role in training and development.

You will code websites and applications that function well for the end user, while working alongside others to set the standards and best practices for the development team.

The ideal candidate will have experience using Laravel (or a similar framework). Experience with WordPress and/or an e-commerce platform would be advantageous.

You’ll be involved in delivering bespoke development projects alongside out team of front-end and back-end developers, UI/UX designers, and marketers.

Our team is approachable and outgoing. You will be supported in the role by the company Director and your colleagues, with a clear progression plan to support your own personal journey with Twilo.

  • Laravel (or similar)
  • PHP
  • Twig / Vue
  • Javascript / jQuery
  • WHM / cPanel
  • Command line

You’ll be responsible for:

  • Managing your own deadlines
  • Contributing to the team in terms of new technologies and coding standards
  • Improving the overall standard of coding within the company
  • Maintaining servers

As well as the above you will:

  • Code in a tidy manner
  • Work collaboratively
  • Have excellent communication skills
  • Be confident in what you do

Flexibility is key in this industry therefore you must be pro-active and willing to learn new techniques which will help you in your role and establish yourself as a key member and leader of the team.

Details

Salary: £30K depending on experience.

31 days holiday entitlement.
