Who Am I?
Hi, I’m Corey, a mid-level front-end developer with 4+ years of experience in web development. Primarily specialising in ReactJS, most of my skillset resides within the JavaScript ecosystem. Whether it’s building lightning-fast brochure sites in NextJS or complex web applications in React, I have dabbled with it all.
Work Experience
Since graduating university in 2019 with a BSc in Computer Science, I have climbed the ranks from an intern developer at a small startup to a junior React developer, which eventually led to becoming a mid-senior React developer leading a very small team at a mid-sized digital agency in Sheffield. This journey has helped me to become a jack-of-all-trades in front-end development, even gaining significant experience in back-end development too.
Hobbies
In my spare time, I’m an avid gymgoer and love to channel my inner Gordon Ramsey when in the kitchen. I never say no to a night out with friends and love to make my presence known on the dance floor.
First Month at Twilo
During my first month here at Twilo, I feel like I’ve fit in with a welcoming team and am already learning and expanding my skillset as a developer. Every day is a school day.
How do you look to help push Twilo forward?
As a developer who’s worked with a range of modern frameworks and tech stacks, I hope to share my knowledge with the team and hopefully bring valuable insight to future projects and stay ahead of current trends and cutting-edge tech.
